AGA Minsterley Fireplace

 

The Aga Minsterley is a cast-iron boiler fireplace with a thermostatic water temperature control, and which burns solid fuel and wood. It is an ideal choice for the family home, particularly in its design performance to produce hot water as a priority. Its space heating to hot water ratio is excellent, meaning that unlike similar appliances, any excess heat the Minsterley produces is not lost to the room.

The Minsterley runs at 75.5% efficiency when burning wood. This is down to the AGA Active Air Wash System and Aga's clean burn technology. The Minsterley fireplace also has an overnight burning capability and is available in matt black.

The Minsterley has a maximum output of 6kW to room and 13kW to the boiler and a nominal output of 5kW to room and 8kW to boiler. This provides sufficient energy for your domestic hot water requirements and to run 5-9 standard sized 1.5kW radiators.

Please note, the flue is not included and is dependent on each home.

Fuel Type

Multifuel / Wood burning

 

Wood burning is better for the environment because the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is the same as that absorbed by the tree during growth.

Other recommended fuels are smokeless coal, bituminous coal (contains less carbon) and peat, making it perfect for today’s environmentally concerned cooks.  By replacing some of your energy needs with natural fuels you are minimising the cost and helping to reduce your carbon footprint.
